Promotional staffing is an integral part of experiential marketing, and can massively aid the communication of key brand messages direct to the consumer. The calibre of promotional staff can vary massively, as can their ability to correctly interpret what your brand is all about. There are several components that form a successful and worthwhile promotional campaign; initially, you must ensure that you choose the best available staffing agency with which to work – one which is dedicated to understanding and achieving your objectives – Beautiful Minds Promotions. We meticulously and rigorously sift through applicants to ensure that only the crème de la crème end up on our books, containing only the finest Brand Ambassadors that the industry has to offer.

In return for the outstanding level of commitment and performance our team of staff will offer you, there are a few salient points that you may wish to consider with regards to staffing a campaign and establishing a good relationship with the staff.

  1. Never underestimate the importance of a good brief! By providing us with as much information as possible on your brand, campaign, and specific staff requirements, we are able to determine who will be the best possible staff for your particular brand, and ensure that they are as knowledgeable as possible about your product. Depending on the product, provide them with samples so they are able to try it out and learn everything there is to learn about it, particularly its benefits, which they can then communicate to the public.
  2. Remember – promotional staff are people too! Provide them with a good uniform, and allocate breaks fairly. Don’t subject them to working conditions you would not be prepared to adhere to yourself.  Providing staff with skimpy clothes midwinter on an outdoor campaign will definitely not guarantee that they will perform to the best of their abilities; ditto allocating one 20 minute break on a ten hour shift! From my own personal experience working as a BA, I would advise that ensuring staff are comfortable is a must, as is giving them sufficient time to have something to eat and drink, and rest their feet. Standing up for hours on end whilst smiling widely and being polite and friendly requires a lot of energy! Treat staff fairly and you will reap the benefits.
  3. Finally – communicate and resolve problems as they arise. If a member of staff is not performing to your expectations, or the event is not running as smoothly as you would wish, inform both the member of staff, and HQ, as quickly as possible to ensure that this can be remedied. Our staff are very flexible, willing and eager to please, so any shortcomings on their part will most likely be as a result of a misunderstanding, and can easily be rectified. It is also essential that you inform HQ immediately if there is any aspect of our staffing with which you are dissatisfied, as it may be that we can spot where the breakdown in communication, or misinterpretation, has occurred. It is very little use waiting until the end of an event to let us know you were not happy with your staff – there is nothing we can do at this point!

We have extensive experience in events, both hands on and in terms of organization and staffing, and can confidently say that we will provide you with the best promotional staff available to you.
