Having worked in promotions extensively for the past few years, it is only since I have moved into staff booking that I have realised the true importance of a good staff profile. We have hundreds of staff on our books (1100 at last count!) and receive upwards of fifty applications to join our books each week; the one thing that is guaranteed to make a staff member stand out is a great staff profile. 

When sifting through applications it is a breath of fresh air to find one that does not ignore the most basic grammatical principles - punctuation, capital letters, correct spelling. Imagine our JOY and DELIGHT when we come across a staff profile that not only ticks all the boxes, but is well written, articulate and informative!

For the perfect staff profile, we need look no further than two of our long standing staff members, Lindsey Carr and Emma Hodgetts.  Possibly the most important element of the staff profile is the photo – both have clear photos which accurately portray their appearance, supporting our ethos of staff who ‘look great but sound better’. This means that group shots, blurry photos, and snaps of you with a glass of wine in hand are definitely not suitable for your staff profile!

Their personal profiles include information about their character as well as briefly detailing their experience, which is then listed concisely under the headings ‘recent campaigns’ and ‘recent shows’, as well as skills and qualifications. It is imperative that you include this information so that we can match you to the jobs which best suit your experience and abilities. Simply put, the more information you give, the more work you are likely to receive. So please Beautiful Minds, make our day and ensure your staff profiles are up to date, relevant, and correctly spelt!
